A mile east of my house, I noticed an arrangement of businesses that struck me as humorous. North of Parker Avenue at Alma you will find a 24 Hour Fitness Center. South of Parker Avenue at Alma you will find a Bally's Fitness Center. Between the two, you will find a 7-Eleven, Shipley's Donuts, Chubby's Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant (I don't remember the name), and a Pancho's All-You-Can-Eat Mexican Food Buffet. Location, location, location.

I was reading your blog and visiting with my wife at the same time (your blog probably doesn't mind, but my wife hates it when she doesn't have my full attention during a conversation) and she said something about the junk in our lives that distracts us from God each day.
After hanging up the phone and returning to your blog, I realized that this amusing location thing is very much like the thing we do with our lives. Our intent is to be focused upon HIM, but we consume so much intellectual, emotional and spiritual junk food that we sometimes find ourselves feeling spiritually phhhhtt instead.
